5.7 Magnitude Earthquake hits in Tripura North East State of India. The Epic Center was in Tripura. It is a  moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale in the Northeast of India and adjoining the districts of Bangladesh on Tuesday afternoon 2.39 Pm which was felt for about five to six seconds and it has been located at Latitude 24.1 degree North and Longitude 91.1 degree East. The Central Seismological Observatory (CSO) in Shillong locating its epicenter in Ambassa area which is 59 km away from Agartala in Dhalai district, Tripura. The Epic Center of the Earthquake is at a depth of 28 kilometers., and it is close to Mizoram and the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh.
