Metro to suburbs.. Railway line to Foxconn and Pharmacies ahead!
The government has already given the green signal to establish a metro line up to Shamshabad Airport and has also prepared proposals. It is estimated that about 20 kilometers of railway line will cost Rs.6,000 crores. Recently Minister Sabitha Reddy and many other people requested CM KCR to extend the Metro line to the airport up to Tukkuguda Industrial Estate and he responded positively.
Apart from this, the government is considering the extension of metro train services to Foxconn and Pharmacies being established in the district. Similarly, it is planned to extend the existing metro railway upto LBnagar to Hayatnagar.
Metro Rail will soon start running in Rangareddy district which is spread on the outskirts of the city. Rangareddy district is developing rapidly with expanding colonies on one side and large-scale industrial uses on the other. Keeping this in mind, the government has focused on providing metro rail services to developing areas.
During the recent visit of CM KCR, he promised to provide metro rail services to many parts of the district. The government has already completed all arrangements to provide metro services to Shamshabad Airport. It is estimated that the 20 km railway line from the city to the airport will cost Rs.6,000 crore.
Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and many others asked CM KCR to provide metro facility from Shamshabad Airport to nearby Tukkuguda Industrial Area in a public meeting held recently in Raviriya. To this extent, the CM assured that metro services will be provided up to Tukkuguda.
CM KCR is planning to extend the metro rail from LBnagar to Hayatnagar in Ibrahimpatnam constituency. With this, metro services will soon be available to Shamshabad, Tukkuguda and Hayatnagar in the district.
Metro Train Soon to Foxconn, Pharma City!
The government has already given the green signal for setting up a metro rail from Rayadurgam to Shamshabad International Airport in Rangareddy district at a cost of Rs.6,000 crore. Also, it will be extended up to Tukkuguda. Metro services are planned to be extended to Rangareddy Collectorate and Foxconn Company which is about ten kilometers away from Tukkuguda. The works of Foxconn Company in Kongarakalan are going on fast.
If the company starts, about one lakh people will get employment and employment opportunities directly and indirectly. The government feels that it would be useful if the metro rail services up to Kongarakalan would be useful for those coming to Foxconn from different parts of the city. CM KCR is considering the establishment of metro line from Tukkuguda to Foxconn. The government has decided to provide metro services even up to the soon-to-be-opened pharmacy.
While metro services are already available up to LB Nagar, extending it to Hayatnagar, which is 10 km away, will be of great benefit to the people of the suburbs.
A changing landscape of Rangareddy District
If metro services are expanded in Rangareddy district, which is progressing along with industrial progress, the appearance of the district will change in the future. Many industrial uses are being set up in Maheswaram, Ibrahimpatnam, Rajendranagar, LBnagar and Chevella constituencies. Colonies are springing up on a large scale in the suburbs.
Many people from different states have bought houses and settled in the suburbs. All of them are employed in industrial areas in the suburbs. With this, thousands of new colonies are emerging in the district.
Development with Hyderabad Metro
Along with Foxconn being established at Kongarakalan in Rangareddy district, metro rail services to Pharmacity will further develop this area. We have brought to the attention of CM KCR that the transport facility will also improve. Ranga Reddy Collectorate, Foxconn, TCS, Tata Aerospace as well as the metro services are very useful for students coming to educational institutions in the area.
