Kangana Ranaut is an Indian actress and filmmaker known for her work in the Hindi film industry, also known as Bollywood.
In addition to her acting career, Kangana made her directorial debut with the film “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” in 2019. She co-directed the film and also played the lead role of Rani Lakshmibai, the warrior queen of Jhansi.
Kangana is known for portraying strong and unconventional characters on screen. She is often appreciated for her versatility as an actress and her ability to take on challenging roles. She has also been vocal about various social and political issues in India, making headlines for her outspoken nature and controversial statements.
Over the years, Kangana Ranaut has been in the news more than her movies. Needless to say, her career has taken a hit with her unnecessary interference in political affairs. She started speaking in support of the Modi government in power at the center, and after crossing a stage, turned into a bhajanist.
Kangana’s opposition has increased greatly.. and the impact has been strong on her films. On the other hand, Kangana had to withdraw from the campaign of many brands. Kangana recently responded about this loss. It is noteworthy that Kangana commented that she had to lose Rs. 40 crores as she was excluded from the promotion of many brands.
Responding to a tweet by Twitter owner Elon Musk, Kangana revealed that she also lost a lot by speaking the truth. “This is my personal.. my freedom.. my success. I have suffered a lot for supporting Hinduism..for speaking the truth against politicians and traitors.
Overnight 20-25 companies cut me out of contracts to promote their products. Due to this, I lost up to 30-40 crores per year. But I don’t mind. I am now a free creature. I will make my voice louder,” said Kangana. It is known that last year, Kangana starrer Dhakad Ghorathi received a terrible result at the box office. Currently, she is acting in Chandramukhi-2 along with Emergency.
