TTD Joined hands for Covid-19 victims and Poor in Chittoor District

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) Which worlds famous Temple and India’s most populous and highest earning temple interms of revenue. All this known fact and nothing special in it. But Now the TTD is joins helping hands for Covid-19 patients, victims and Poor people who are suffering from the Post lock down situations. Coronavirus is became very effective and dangerous in Chittoor District.

The Public are suffering day by day at most with this Coronavirus pandemic in Chittoor District. TTD Joins Helping hand for Covid-19 victims and Poor one in Chittoor District. Due to sudden lock down many people are suffering and starving without food. TTD Chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy ordered to donate food to the victims in Tirupati and Chittoor District. The TTD board decided to share food to victims in all districts of the Andhra Pradesh state by donating 1 crore to each district. But due to lock down the situations are unfavourable to the TTD to accomplish this activity.

TTD helping more than One Lakh and Twenty thousand people in Tirupati and Chittoor district by supplying food packets daily. TTD sponsoring food for the 1,20,000 people who are living in Chittoor district. TTD Board and members took a decision towards to help the Coronavirus patients in different ways by supplying food and giving shelter for Covid-19 victims in Chittoor district.

TTD board members saying that it is our responsibility to take initiation to help the Covid-19 victims in this crisis period occurred with this pandemic. The TTD board will do the help and favour to the public as per their capability they added. In this way Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) is playing a crucial role in Covid-19 prevention in Chittoor district.

This is the first time in history the TTD Temple is closed for 80 days due to Covid-19 Lock down. The TTD Temple has been closed from 27 March to 8 June 2020. This Covid-19 Pandemic made huge deficit to TTD Board incurring loos in revenue. It’s almost more than 600 crores loss for TTD in 80 days. The revenue is coming in various formats like Srivari Darshan Tickets, Gifts to Srivari Hundi and Laddu Prasadams.

Now TTD opens the temple and darshan to devotees daily, but it is very limited interms of drashan tickets and revenue.

TTD allotted Ruya, Swims Hospitals and Padmavathi Guest House as quarantine centers for Covid-19 Victims to rescue and preventive actions and for treatment. After the house full of the Padmavathi guest house TTD allotted Srinivasam, Madhavam and Vishnu Nivasam to the Covid-19 victims as quarantine centers.

TTD granted Rupees 19 crores to rescue and preventive Operation for Covid-19 Victims. In this way TTD showing passion to rescue lives of Covid-19 victims by donating food, money and shelter.

Now TTD’s helping hand became a gift to Chittoor district that more than 1000 people are victims of Coronavirus(Covid-19). In that almost 600 people are getting treatment in Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati. Remaining are getting treatment in Ruya, Swims Hospitals & Srinivasam, Madhavam and Vishnu Nivasam Guest House Complexes.

The Corona cases are increasing in the district, TTD readying BIRRD Hospital for Coronavirus Treatment center. The Swims, BIRRD Hospitals and Padmavathi are TTD’s property. TTD Launched a Lab for Covid Tests at Alipiri to Devotees who are visiting Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) for Balaji Darshan.
